Davide Magni is an Italian classical guitarist and Royal Academy of Music Master’s graduate currently based in London. Passionate about a wide range of repertoire, he performs both well-established works and lesser-known or contemporary pieces, including Fantasia per Laura by Giancarlo Facchinetti and A Light Went Out by Litha Efthymiou, among others. Davide performs on a 1926 guitar built by Julián Gómez Ramírez.

After being admitted to the Conservatoire of his hometown Parma, he began a fruitful course of study with Massimo Felici and deepened his musical knowledge through masterclasses with renowned artists such as Oscar Ghiglia, Stefano Grondona, and Elena Papandreou. He earned his Master of Arts with Honours in Parma with a dissertation on Vicente Asencio’s Col.lectici íntim, and subsequently completed his second master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music under the guidance of Michael Lewin and Stephen Goss.

Davide has performed extensively as both a soloist and chamber musician in prestigious venues including the Teatro Regio and the Paganini Auditorium in Parma, as well as in Reggio Emilia, Livorno, and Portogruaro. In July 2021, he made his solo debut with the orchestra La Toscanini in Parma, performing Caminos del Sur by Luis Bacalov. He was also selected as one of the Young Artists Platform awardees for the International Guitar Foundation for the 2023/2024 season. In London, Davide has appeared in venues such as Kings Place, St Mary-le-Bow, Charlton House, and the Royal Academy of Music.
